All of my research focuses on the promotion of health, wellbeing and inclusion among marginalised groups. I use critical social psychological theories and qualitative methods to understand and address health and social inequalities. I adopt a critical stance in my work in alignment with the scholar-activist tradition.
All of my research falls under one or more of the following themes:
- community-led social change
- health promotion
- oppression, resistance and social representations
Specifically, I have an interest in bisexuality and non-binary sexualities, working-class identities and ageing.
I welcome contact from community groups, scholar-activists, campaigners and academics interested in collaborating as well as those looking to complete an MSc or PhD.
